LinkedIn

Linkedin connections and online social networking seems to increase around holidays when socializing at real parties creates opportunities to connect with people you don’t have contact with during the normal monthly routine. I enjoyed seeing old friends at holiday socials this week and connecting online to old friends too. I had kept on eye on LinkedIn after several invitations to join had come my way but this fall my surveillance of the service and news reports indicated that it was achieving a tipping point. It seemed that the use of Linkedin as a productivity tool was working and people outside the tech industry were beginning to jump in too. My connections have included tech industry, arts, and education so far.
