Nanking 70th Anniversary

I saw the film “Nanking” at Portland’s Hollywood Theatre that hosted the International Documentary Association’s “Docuweek” in October and I and was impressed with the production and performances by Jurgen Prochnow as John Rabe, Woody Harrelson as Bob Wilson, Mariel Hemingway as Minnie Vautrin, Rosalind Chao as Chang Yu Zheng, and the other actors who performed dramatic readings set to documentary footage from historical archives.
